Oilers Update - Young Guns to AHL

The Oklahoma Barons just got a little stronger.  With NHL lock-out expected to commence in a few hours, the Edmonton Oilers have moved some of they're young forwards to the their affiliate squad down south. In total 26 Oilers forwards have been sent to Barons including top scorer Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson.

Defenceman Justin Schultz will also make the trip to the Sooner State, however Taylor Hall and Nail Yakupov will not suit up for the Barons.  Hall is not eligible to play with the Barons since he is still considered to be on the injured reserved list, and  as for #1 Draft of 2012, Yakupov has been sent back Sarnia Sting, but is rumored that he will play in the KHL in Russia.
