The Edmonton Oilers have traded forward 24 year-old Andrew Cogliano to the Anaheim Ducks for a 2nd round pick for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
In the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Cogliano was acquired by Edmonton in the first round going 25th overall.
After the Oilers picked up a few key components during the Free Agent Frenzy, it seemed almost inevitable that the young speedster would find new address before the start of the 2012 season.
The native of Toronto Ontario leaves the club having played 328 games while scoring 146 points
