Yesterday, the Winnipeg Jets proudly unveiled their new logo to the hockey world. Mark Chipman, Chairman & Governor of True North Sports & Entertainment commented about the emblem. "We felt it was important to authenticate the name Jets and we believe the new logo does that through its connection to our country's remarkable Air Force heritage, including the rich history and relationship that our city and province had enjoyed with the Canadian Forces." said ChipmanThe Jets has yet to reveal the overall look of their jersey's which is scheduled to come out in the coming weeks; and whether you love or despise the new look, Chipman eluded that the club will produce a retro third jersey in the near future. According to Chipman the team did not have enough time to create one for the start of the 2011-12 season.
