Oilers Update - Oilers vs Jets Young Stars Tournament

For the first time since 1996 the Edmonton Oilers will take on the Winnipeg Jets at the Southern Okanagan Events Centre tonight at 7:30 Pacific time.

To answer those swirling questions about Ryan Nugent-Hopkins...yes he will dress tonight. 48 hours ago, the 18 year-old phenom helped his club with an assist to trounce the Vancouver Canucks by a score of 7-2.  Anton Lander led the team in scoring by potting two goals, but the young Swede will draw out of tonights game to make way for Medicine Hat Tiger, Tyler Pitlick.

Pitlick was chosen in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft at 31st over-all by the Oilers and hopes to find some work in Oklahoma City.

Also out for tonights game and for the rest of the tournament is Colten Teubert.  The defenceman suffered what looked be a broken nose after getting smoked by the fist of Adam Polasek during a tilt. "It was going good at the start, and then I opened up and got my bell rung." said Teubert.  "I think it's broken, but I am feeling pretty good right now."

The last noticable change for the Oilers will be in goal.  Tyler Bunz is expected to guard the cage in place of Oilvier Roy.
